Rotisserie Rankings

Before the beginning of the ShirtsAgainstBlouses League about 80 % of Fantasy Basketball leagues were set up in with "rotisserie" settings.  There were no Head-to-Head match-ups, but a point value given to each teams' rankings in the various Stat Categories (pts, rbs, ft%, st, etc.).  While the Head-to-Head format provides for better rivalries, trash talking, and a playoff system, it doesn't always necessarily show how good a person's team really is.  The following rankings show a purely statistical ranking of each team.  These stats are broken down further under the head-to-head stats tab in the league home page.  Each week we will update these rankings which can be used to see the strengths and weaknesses of your team and which Stat Categories you may need to trade for.

Notes
  • Interesting to see Merlness at the top of both the Power Rankings and Rotisserie Rankings, yet coming in a far 4th place in our league.  If managed correctly and barring any injuries, Merlness could runaway with the top spot and shoot for the single season fantasy record.
  • Biggest head-to-head winner goes to Cocaine Convict who wouldn't even make the playoffs in a rotisserie league (9th Place), but in our league in the medal running (3rd Place).  Likewise, the biggest head-head loser goes to Where's Leon, who's team has the big numbers but not the best match-ups going from 5th in the rotisserie standings to 10th in our leage
  • The Add/Drop effect is hard to see with Merlness making only 1 move and in full control of 1st place while Tykes for Tyreke making 40 moves and still not able to put up the same kind of stats.

  1. Lemme get this straight: Cliphairs punts BOTH points AND rebounds and still ends up in the Top 3? What kind of craptastic strategy is that, and how on earth is it working?
